UNRIVALLED TORQUE

ENGINE
The latest materials and production technologies not only deliver the bike's bountiful torque and punchy acceleration, but also good manners in everyday use and outstanding fuel economy. A bike as compact and nimble as this one deserves to pack a solid punch. With 22 kW (30 hp) for an extremely lightweight craftsmanship, it does just that. Thanks to the ingenious intake and exhaust system, the 38 mm throttle body and the meticulous fuel injection system, this strong stroker is ready to leave the rest of the city traffic behind at the twist of your wrist.

CYLINDER HEAD
Just like the 1290 SUPER DUKE R, the four valves in the cylinder head of the KTM 250 DUKE are actuated by two overhead camshafts and ultra-hard, carbon coated cam followers. The result is an ultra-reliable, long-lasting engine that produces next-level power.

SLIPPER CLUTCH
Not only does the slipper clutch open when the engine back-torque becomes too high, it also assists when you open the throttle. The former prevents rear wheel chatter when braking sharply or decelerating – and gives the wheel just that bit of braking for a controlled rear wheel slide. The latter allows the clutch to be pulled and controlled with just one trigger-happy finger – saving you energy and offering greater control – just like the pros.

EXHAUST
The KTM 250 DUKE’s lightweight and precision-crafted exhaust system comprises of a side exhaust, link pipe and silencer. The three-chamber silencer has been positioned close to the bike’s overall center of gravity, improving balance and handling, whilst also delivering smooth, instant and beast-like power. Oh, and it looks angry as hell too.

BRAKES
A high-tech BREMBO braking system works in perfect harmony with the advanced ABS, providing riders with firm, controlled stopping power when they need it most. With a 300 mm brake disc on the front, paired with a 230 mm disc on the rear, the KTM 250 DUKE delivers exceptional pro-level stopping power, and you know what they say: ‘braking harder makes you faster!’ Simply disengage the ABS to go full beast-mode!

SHOCK ABSOBER
Thanks to its progressive 150 mm spring, the KTM 250 DUKE will perform in any environment you can throw at it. The preload is adjustable, so you can count on well-balanced suspension whether you’re riding solo or two-up, with or without luggage, on road or on track. The choice is yours.

TELESCOPIC FORK
The KTM 250 DUKE's high-quality upside-down fork from WP Suspension has the same 43 mm diameter as the RC8 R - in other words: real racing equipment that guarantees highest levels of stability and precision.

WHEELS
As light as they are stable, the 17-inch cast alloy racing wheels help you put the power down with confidence, utilizing a 110 mm wide wheel at the front and an impressive 150 mm at the rear. Wrapped in premium rubber, the pro-spec tires will keep your KTM 250 DUKE glued to the road. They offer outstanding grip in both wet and dry conditions, as well as providing supreme durability, even for riders that know how to push tires to their absolute limits.

SWINGARM
The 250 DUKE's lightweight, high-quality, pin-jointed, die-cast swingarm is designed and produced according to the same principle as the 690 DUKE. The light alloy swingarm with directly linked WP shock absorber excels with extreme torsional stiffness and outstanding tracking stability.

SEATS
The KTM 250 DUKE may be small in engine size but this mini-beast is all about performance. Its superb ergonomics provide plenty of space with the freedom of movement to hang it out. DESIGN
At first you notice that aggressive front end. That predatory, READY TO RACE stance. When you come closer, you feel its steel fuel tank and multiple high-quality cast parts. In the end, you realize that the design and production standards of this bike were set sky-high. Just like its big brother, the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R, the KTM 250 DUKE looks like a naked, angry, untamed beast.

HEADLIGHT
With integrated Daytime Running Lights (DRL) consisting of 20 individual LEDs, this halogen headlight makes a bold statement, with its an unmistakable similarity to THE BEAST. Just get on and hunt them all – the 250 DUKE invites you to do exactly that.

LCD DISPLAY
A 100% digital LCD display has everything you would expect from a state-of-the-art KTM motorcycle, including engaged gear, fuel gauge and service reminder information. It also comes with an RPM alert to indicate the optimum moment for up-shifting, just like they have on the supersport racing machines.
